Holy blogger, Batman! I totally forgot to do my blog post for today. And now it's late on Sunday and my very last brain cell was used up an hour ago so I can't even remember what I was going to be posting about. I've been wallowing in the Holy-Cow-School-Is-Over Paradise Inn, then Stewage Strait, and then Revision Rapids.
*head desk*
You guys can talk amongst yourselves right? Summer plans? Weekend things you accomplished? Things you've always wanted to post in a blog comment? How awesome M&M's and pretzels go together? Why Batman is the best superhero on the planet?
I swear I'll find my brain and put her in her place before tomorrow. Imagine you're on Saturday night live or something.
Topic: Whatever.

Hmmm...penut M&Ms and pretzels. Note to self...try immediately. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou sound positively...
ReplyDelete...verklempt! Wait, Verclempt? Hmmm...vercklemped, maybe. No, that's not it either.
Wait, what were we talking about?
I have a firm belief that chocolate does not belong with salty foods and/or fruit. I realize this statement may get me banned from future commenting. But it's true. Just like fruit doesn't belong on ice cream. Who ever thought that up! Gross. NOW fruit on frozen yogurt...that's doable, IF it's fruit flavored.
ReplyDelete(And no, I'm not one of those people that can't have my food touching on the plate, but yes I think onions are gross because they smell bad and mushrooms are far from edible because they are fungus. Just saying....)
Jamie D! I forgot about verklempt. So funny!
ReplyDeleteMarybeth, I am shocked. No chocolate with salty things? White chocolate popcorn? Yum. Caramel popcorn? Double yum. Now, you've got me chocolate and fruit. That is totally sick. I also don't like fruit with meat, like peaches and pork chops or whatever it is people do.
And I don't like my food to touch. I'm sure you're not surprised by that. *snarf* And I'm SOOO with you on onions and the fungi! Sick! You can stay. ;-)
oooh, oooh, do Sprockets next!
ReplyDeletewordver: mancul = a really bad breakup
Elana . . . we're not in sync today. I love chocolate covered strawberries, bananas, and apples. Yum. I'm with you on the popcorn varieties, btw. Oh, and I did hear that a college student is making beer flavored popcorn and margarita flavored popcorn. Sign me up for the second one.
ReplyDeleteOh, and do you eat your food one item at a time, totally, before moving on to the next? I have a friend who doesn't like her food to touch and eats one thing at a time. As for me . . . I love to experience all the different flavors of food.
Speaking of food . . .mashed potatoes. My all time favorite food. Leftovers? No prob, just make potato pancakes. Did I mention I like to dip my food into the mashed potatoes before eating. YUMMY! Geesh, now I'm going to have to go home and make mashed potatoes for dinner. Thanks a lot.

Scott, Not so sure about the Margarita Popcorn, can we just leave out the Popcorn part and call it good?
ReplyDeleteAs for the mashed potatoes, you've hit a soft spot. Thanksgiving dinner...all piled onto the mashed potatoes. It's like a pot pie! YUM!!!
MaryBeth - how about if we just eat popcorn while drinking margaritas? : )
ReplyDeleteSOLD!
ReplyDeleteMarybeth and Scott - I want to play - - I love the idea of margaritas and popcorn!!!
ReplyDeleteOoooh you could bring the blender!
ReplyDeleteDude, Scott, YOU brought up mashed potatoes! *snarfing*
ReplyDeleteI don't have to eat all of one food before moving to the next. I just don't really like my food to touch or mix up all that much.
Margarita flavored popcorn? Sorry that sounds sick. Now if they were separate, maybe. I'm not much of a drinker, meaning, I don't. Ginger ale and popcorn? It's sort of got that sparkly quality? I guess I can just not join the food fest on my own blog...
*tucks tail. turns away*
Oh Elana...I can swap a margarita for some yummy Clearly Canadian (remember those!!!) and save a spot for you at the food festival. How bout you bring some cheese to sprinkle over the popcorn?
ReplyDeleteDude! I totally drank Clearly Canadian! The peach kind. I'm in. Cheese on the popcorn sounds awesome! And bacon. :)
ReplyDeleteYou lost me at bacon? ummmmm what's that for again? Are we talking on the side or slices laying on top of the popcorn. Or are you more of a roll the popcorn up in bacon and sprinkle some cheese on it? I'm confused!
ReplyDeleteAnd I loved the Berry flavor. It rocked!!!
I never eat cheese without bacon. On baked potatoes (or mashed if you prefer) or on a hamburger or anything. So if we're putting cheese on the popcorn, I thought a little bacon bits would be too far behind. At least for my bowl, yanno?
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha!
Okay - so let me make sure I have this right...margaritas, clearly canadian and other non-alcoholic sparkly stuff (yummy), popcorn, cheese, bacon, potatoes....
ReplyDeleteDoes that sum it up :D????
Crap! Now I'm hungry! I'll bring the potatoes and bacon and cheese. Woot!
ReplyDeleteI missed out on all of this. But now it's Tuesday. Hmmm, where is she! One can only wonder! :0)
ReplyDeleteFull from cheese, bacon and Clearly Canadian no doubt!
