What have you been up to?
Waiting. Waiting and waiting and waiting. Staring into space. Eating icecream. Waiting. Saying yes to all sorts of things I shouldn't to my kiddles because I am not paying attention because I am... waiting.
ReplyDeleteI am going to try getting in and out of my hot car today! Wildly exotic!
Wow, wow, wow -- that is so impressive. You wrote more words than I did and did everything that I can't imagine doing. Nice!
ReplyDeleteKeep at it!
I wrote, watched some movies, read some books, slept... Definitely not the kind of things you've been up to.
I feel like a total slacker now.
ReplyDeleteBut your mention of lunch has me craving Olive Garden ... lol.
Um, well I came home from my "vacation." That, I think, was the biggest accomplishment of all for the week for me!
WOW! You are superwoman! For me just editing. And more editing. Can't wait to be done editing. :D
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a week! congrats on the 7k words, and the editing, and the laundry (that's what I hate the most).
ReplyDeleteBoy, you got a lot accomplished. I'm impressed! That laundry thing is the worst!
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of jealous you're eating tomatoes already - mine are still green up here! *sigh*
ReplyDeleteWhat have I done? Uh...reached 10k words on my novel draft, did some laundry too, but not enough, and planned out orders for Halloween & Christmas items for payday on Friday.
I'm with you on eating the homegrown tomatoes. YUM!
ReplyDeleteOther than that, not much progress this week due to other things going on. I'll see what next week brings.
S
That's quite a list you've got there. I rearranged the living room, did dishes, and have been working on the WiP, but you wiped the floor with me for all that you accomplished this week!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on all the writerly progress and try not to let the waiting get you down! :)
Your week seems epicly more productive than mine. I love lunch dates too!
ReplyDeleteOur tomatoes and cucumbers are quite late this year; we've only been getting ripe ones just the past week or so. I think it's the strangely mild weather going on in the Midwest. Not that I'm going to complain. This is the best summer ever, because it's barely risen above 85 degrees the whole time. Of course, this is the year I invest in a dorm with air conditioning.
Woohoo! Good for you, Elana.
ReplyDeleteFun post! I'm really impressed with everything you got done.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I will start quantifying my days, too.
My verification word is "moofaunt." Yikes.
Thanks guys! I'm totally going to print out how impressed you all are with what I've done because my DH thinks I've done NOTHING! LOL. :)
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to write that I love how many tomatoes you have eaten. I could eat them like apples. :D
ReplyDelete~ Wendy
You spent 10 hours cleaning your garage?
ReplyDeleteYou brave, brave soul. You should be an expert by now. Want to clean mine. :-)
Keep kickin' butt on that word count!
Holy crap - with all that accomplished in one week I'd like to see also see the number on how many hours you've slept. Or maybe you don't sleep and are secretly some kind of amazing robot-person hybrid powered by homegrown tomatoes? hmmm...
ReplyDeleteKate,
ReplyDelete# of hours slept in past 8 days: 52
How's that? I sleep! Really, I do!
Kat, no I don't want to clean your garage. Cleaning mine was very very painful. And hot.
Wendy! Have you been spying on me? LOL! I eat them like apples too.
Lisa/Laura, dudes if we lived closer, we could play every day! I'm no good, but still. Think of the laugh-fest we could have!
Oh, I love stats! Sounds like a very productive week.
ReplyDeleteNot nearly as much as you! WOW, girl! Do you sleep? =]
ReplyDeleteWow - you've been busy. I actually decluttered the kitchen, my bedroom, James room. Got all of the laundry done so no more odds and ends hanging out in the laundry basket. Read alot. Can't say I got much writing done, but enjoyed my garden and listening to all the baby birds talking in the bushes.
ReplyDeleteWow! You've been busy! Awesome job on the word count. Yea! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm in writer limbo as I wait to close out one MS and revise and edit another :( But, I am critting and trying to be a more consistent blogger. Two more weeks of freedom before Volleyball starts and then it's me and 30 teenage girls. *shudders*
