GLEE is on Tonight!

That is all.

Well, maybe not all.

Besides writing and family and all that, what makes you giddy with GLEE?

  1. I have heard such good things about that show! I haven't seen it. I will have to rent the first season when it comes out. I hate to start in the middle!
I am giddy because it is getting warmer each day and will be 80 by Friday! Woo hoo! And I have a concert on Thursday and get to meet the band. Woo hoo again!

  2. Sweet, although I'm not much of a TV watcher with four kids involved in every activity known to man. I'm a dancer at heart. It was my first love before my mom developed MS and I had to stay home to care for her. Now, writing makes me giddy, especially when a plan comes together.

"Smile and wave, boys. Smile and wave." ";-)

  3. I'm soooo jealous. I don't know when it's starting up back down here in Australia, but it's definitely not in the next few weeks. I'm eagerly anticipating it's arrival.

  4. I caught a few episodes with my daughter last year and this year I hope to be more dedicated. Let me tell you, the chorus groups I sung with in high school were nothing like that!

  5. Personally I love the production value. The sound is really well mixed and recorded and sounds great. Which is pretty important considering it's a show about singing.

Also I love that I can watch it with my daughter. There are occasional inappropriate moments, but they're mostly over her head. It's great because to her it's High School Musical but for me I don't have to be bored to tears.

And all the great old songs from when dad was a kid re-done and mashed up are a lot of fun too!

  6. Last night I was texting Falen and suddenly a character was born. It's moments like those that make me glee. And spending time with loved ones and Lost.

  7. Glee? What's that? Television is one of the things I gave up to blog. Aren't you glad?

    ReplyDelete
  8. I am SO pumped for Glee tonight!!!

  9. Screeeeeeeching!!!!!!!!
Finally, gosh I miss that show. I love the music and am guilty of liking it more than the original song. The characters are funny as heck!

    Favorite Glee moment
When the football team started dancing to single ladies! OMG that was sooo funny!

  10. I love that show. It's been taking a break here in the UK - so we're a bit behind you - but its back next week here too:)
What makes me giddy with glee? Realising how many fab people in the world I have to share this crazy writing journey with. So glad I'm not alone.

  11. Sleep. I miss it. I want more of it. And I've fallen truly, madly, deeply in love with it, though it stopped returning my calls.

  12. The fact that my 13-year-old son plays and re-plays Lea Michele singing "Don't Rain on my Parade" ENDLESSLY - while singing along to all the words he knows. By heart. When he could be, yanno, listening to Metallica.

  13. Yay!! I've been waiting for what seems like forever for this show to come back on. Good stuff!!

    ReplyDelete
  14. It can't come fast enough! I can't wait!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Yay! finally. I've been waiting for it too. I've watched it from the very beginning - love it!!!

  16. SQUEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUT-- now the new dilemma: it is on at the exact same time as Lost. So which to DVR, and which to watch? Oh the decision.... SO glad there are such things as DVR's!!!

    ReplyDelete
  17. I haven't seen the show yet. Yeah, I know, what's my problem? But when I finally decided to check it out, it was taking a break.

I don't have cable so I have to see if it's on our local stations. Someone told me it is. Hopefully! *crosses fingers*

  18. While I don't watch tv, multiple people have told me I'd love the show, so I think the hubby and I will have to Netflix it. Enjoy tonight!

  19. Cooking & eating!

    New clothes!

    My dog, Symon!

  20. i'm so excited!
But it's on at a weird time - 8:28 so now i'll need to make sure that my DVR is actually taping it.

  21. Great, just great, Glee is back. Okay, I love the show, but it interferes with my writing. I guess I'm going to have to block Tuesday night off as a 'no writing' night between NCIS and Glee. Good thing I watch very little TV. Ha!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Glee just started in the UK last year, so I'm a little late to the party!

Lots of good food - heaps and heaps of good food - makes me gleeful. Yum yum.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I just finished the first half of the season last night. A part of me get s a little disappointed when I have TV shows I have to watch-- Lost, Doctor Who, The Office, 30 Rock, How I met your mother and Big Bang Theory, because it cuts into my writing time.
But on the other hand, shows like Glee are perfect examples of storytelling, character development and pacing and all those good writer things.

Besides Glee has dance numbers that are learned instantly. So that teaches me music is easy and every moment of my day I should try to bust a move. No matter how much people around me DON'T want to see it.

  24. I've been happy dancing since yesterday! glad to know you love it too! ;o)

  25. Who's your fave?

I'm all about Sue. Sue, and Curt. Sheesh, I love those two...

  26. Glee on tv. I need to educate myself. Where is google?

I like actually starting a vaction. Not the long trip or the packing and unpacking, but waking up at the beach and focusing on playing with kids in the salt water and sand.

  27. I've never watched the show.

But what gets me giddy? New ideas for WiPs. The promise of a possibility.

I can't really think of anything else.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Should I admit this here??? I've never seen Glee.

I'm still doing the happy dance because I typed THE END on a wip last night.

I'd say that makes me giddy with glee. :-)

  29. So excited that it's back tonight!

Hmmm, giddy? For the moment, I'm still uber-excited about my washer and dryer. Even with the mountains of laundry we've been catching up on. Woohoo new appliances!

    ReplyDelete
  30. YAY GLEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I'm done. Til it's on... TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Okay, I lied.

    I'm just excited, okay?

    ReplyDelete
  31. glee Glee GLEE GLEE!!! I'm super excited as well. Unfortunately, I can't watch it tonight, but I'm totally going to watch it tomorrow online. I feel like a fan girl. That's not a bad thing right?

  32. I LOVE Glee! It reminds me of high school and college where I was a member of a show choir. Ah the memories.

Things that make me squee with glee (hee hee): a great book to read, hot chocolate, and shopping trips by myself, no kids!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I haven't watched GLEE, but apparently I should!

I can tell you what makes me giddy: writing class tonight, where my novel gets workshopped for the first time -- by seven sets of eyes (giddy and anxious at the same time).

    ReplyDelete
  34. Watching my kids play sports makes me giddy with glee, which is what I'll be doing tonight. I guess I will miss Glee.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Forgive me, Elana, but what is Glee? I've never heard of it, but based on your comment stream it must be pretty popular. All I know is ...it's NOT baseball! Ha ha ha. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  36. Yay!!! I'm so glad it's on Tuesdays now because I can actually watch it when it's on. I was watching it on hulu the day after since I watch Criminal Minds on Wednesdays during Glee's old time slot. It sucked because I couldn't chat with my friends about Glee right away!

    ReplyDelete
  37. I gave my often sullen, mostly ungrateful, but still utterly amazing 17 yr old daughter GLEE in her Easter basket. She giggled, her feet hopped back and forth and she smiled for like, three hours.
That made me giddy. I tried not to let it show too much. ;D

  38. I love GLEE!

What gets me excited lately is RockBand (currently going through RockBand 2). A session of singing loosens me up, boosts my energy and confidence, and is my new pre-writing routine.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yay Glee! Didja know, I was in show choir in high school myself... yeah, I just outed myself ;o) We were the Spartanaires! Enjoy the show Elana ;o)

  40. I must watch this show sometime soon. Never heard of it until two days ago. A man, a very manly man, confessed his secret addiction to it, and I was so impressed with his openness to chickdom, I promised I'd check it out :)

  41. GLEE fils me with Glee.

    I.can't.wait.for.tonight!

    Idol, Glee, and Lost.

    Tuesday's are awesomespice. :)

  43. I keep hearing about this show. I just might have to break my TV ban to watch it.

    ReplyDelete
  44. YAY GLEE! We're having a party tonight with slushies and baked goods to celebrate!! :D

What else fills me with glee? Wil Wheaton on the Big Bang Theory... writing a good chapter... hiding easter eggs with my niece. :D

    ReplyDelete
  45. SO, SO, SO glad you mentioned this! I had forgotten!

Do all good shows come on Tuesday nights???? Seriously? Thank goodness for DVR and YAY for the return of GLEE!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I've wanted to watch this show and have never gotten around to it... oh well! ;-)

I love singing in the car, with my music way up. Everything from musicals (WICKED anyone??), to songs on the radio, to songs from soundtracks... I just love music, and singing and yeah. That makes me giddy.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Glee actually makes me giddy with glee. I've been couunting down until tonight and I can't wait! I've been listening to my Season 1 soundtrack nonstop this past week to get me really excited. Love it!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Ahhhh Glee. A show I am DYING to watch. If only I had time for TV. Maybe when I finish revisions...

  49. Elana - I FIXED THE COMMENT ISSUE ON MY BLOG!!! YAY!! ;o) lol just thought you should know *wink*

  50. AHHH!!! GLEE!!!!!!! I have canceled all plans and will be glued to the screen to watch my beloved Puck and Finn stretch those vocal cords and shake their hips a little. *so excited!!*

    ReplyDelete
  51. I have never watched Glee. I have never watched Lost.
    I don't watch a lot of TV.
    Here's what I Tivo:

    Big Bang Theory
    True Blood
    Masterpiece
    Castle

    That's it.

I still mourn the loss of Gilmore Girls though. *sigh*

    Have glorious, gleeful fun tonight!

  52. I haven't seen GLEE yet! I keep hearing about it over and over. I guess I'd better check it out! Have fun watching! =)

  53. Glee?

    I'm a rooster in a henfest here.

I don't watch much tv, but Heroes is my show. I'm getting into Supernatural, but casually.

So, I guess Heroes makes me giddy with Glee.

  54. My sister loves that show but I have yet to get into it!!! I know I should start from the sounds of it!!! Am I too behind?

    ReplyDelete
  55. Sorry, not a show I watch. But I do get excited about new music from a favorite band.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Why is it that people have blog posts about Glee and Facebook posts about Bejeweled Blitz? I'm so out of these loops!

    ReplyDelete
  57. That it's only 40 days minus 14 minutes till I see my very bestest friend in the whole world again. Not that I'm counting or anything :halo:

    ReplyDelete
  58. It's terrible that I've never seen Glee. I know. I should get twenty lashes for this or something. Perhaps one of these days, I'll get some boxed video set and have a major Glee marathon. I'm tired of feeling out of the loop, like when EVERYBODY had MC Hammer pants except me. That was so humiliating.

    ReplyDelete
  59. What? Glee? Not American Idol? Seriously? :)

    ReplyDelete
  60. I realized after I hit send that I was accidentally equating Glee with MC Hammer pants, and given the contemporary opinion of MC Hammer pants, well, that's not what I meant. I was going off of the original view of MC Hammer pants...err, my view. And I loved them. Anyway, well..that's all. I'll shut up now.

  61. I know the lead woman is a great actress. My husband usually bounces between Idol and The Office, so that's what I see when passing thru the living room.

    ReplyDelete
  62. My tv doesn't play the channel that has it.
That or I haven't been able to find Glee ANYWHERE on TV tonight! Blergh!!!
Guess I'll have to brace for spoilers tomorrow and survive the day until I can watch on my computer ):

  63. It makes me giddy to know that I'm the only person in the world who hasn't seen a single episode of Glee! What's up with that!?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Going to breakfast with a good friend makes me giddy with glee!

    ReplyDelete
  65. I'm a gleek. it's just fun!

    ReplyDelete
  66. I just got into the show recently and scrambled to catch up before the new season began. Now, I'm totally hooked! I even downloaded some of their songs.

Hope you are having a great week!
