Bookanista Book Love RAP Style

Okay, for today's post, I'm going total Bookanista-style and doing a series of mini-BLLuRT's of books I've read that I love. I'm also going to highlight some books I'm excited about reading. And...here we go!


CROSSED by Ally Condie. If you haven't read MATCHED yet, you really need to. CROSSED is just as page-turning, and come November 1, you better have yours pre-ordered.



And that's not all, my feathered friends! I have an ARC! That's right! I. Have. An. ARC! I want you to BLLuRT in order to enter!

LOLA AND THE BOY NEXT DOOR by Stephanie Perkins. Okay, so admittedly I haven't read this book yet. I have it sitting on my table, and I really need to get to it. I will, I know I will. Soon. I've really cleared my plate of some things, so I think I'll get to it. Soon.

I really enjoyed ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS, so I know I won't be disappointed in LOLA.

STORY OF A GIRL by Sara Zarr. This is one of the first contemporary novels I read, a year or two ago. It's a fabulous emotional journey, and really taught me how to write a book without paranormal aspects. I really like to feel when I read, and this book does that and more.

    I've heard the whole MATCHED series is REALLY GOOD! I'm looking forward to reading that soon!

    This is such an amazing contest. Sigh.

    I just tweeted "I want to read @naturallysteph's Lola and the Boy Next Door more than I want several insects on this planet to continue breathing." because it's very true.

    I'm really looking forward to GOLIATH by Scott Westerfeld which will finish up the Leviathan trilogy. I love the world he's created in them.

    You will NOT be disappointed by Lola. Happened to get my hands on a copy and it's fantastic. Weirdly, or maybe not so weirdly, my favorite part in Lola is her parents! Just wait until you see what good, and yet flawed, parents they are . . .

    These look great! I have ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS on my TBR list. I can't wait to read it. And I've heard of CROSSED and MATCHED. They need to be bought! I just bought your book on Amazon yesterday! I couldn't wait until the weekend! Can't wait to read it!

    I'm totally looking forward to Crossed (I just went onto Amazon and pre-ordered it for my Kindle). I think Ally is brilliant. I've actually been seeing all three of these books all over the place, so I'll have to check them out. Thanks for sharing!

    Great books. I am reading Crossed right now so give that one to someone else. I've really looking forward to The Iron Prince by Julie Kagawa. Great series this week BTW.

    I'm looking forward to reading all of the books you mentioned! Others on my TBR list include Wildefire, Blood Magic, Witch Eyes, and as many dystopians as I can get my hands on.
