Okay, so I'm on the road this week. I thought we were going to leave today, but we decided to go to Vegas so we didn't have to drive for twelve straight hours.
Plus, I love Las Vegas, so there's that too.
If you happen to find yourself near the San Diego area, I'd love to meet you at one of my events! I'll be at Mysterious Galaxy on Wednesday night at 7 PM. Then, on Thursday, I'll be at the Oceanside Barnes & Noble at 6 PM. Full addresses are available on my "Appearances" page.
Both events are with the lovely and amazing Jessi Kirby (MOONGLASS), Kirsten Hubbard (LIKE MANDARIN), and John Corey Whaley (WHERE THINGS COME BACK).
Because of this epicness, I won't be blogging this week. Hope you have a good one!
So, are you a big Vegas fan? Or California? Where do I need to eat and/or visit while I'm here?
Sorry, but I've never been to Vegas. Have an awesome trip. Wish I loved there so I could go.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a blast. What a great group. Have fun.
ReplyDeleteHope it's a successful trip! I like Vegas but not a fan of California. Too many people.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your events! Hope there's a huge turnout. I haven't been to Vegas in a while - but fondly remember the breakfast buffet at Caesar's.
ReplyDeleteNever been to Vegas or California. Would love to go to both one day. Hope you have a fantastic time out there this week.
ReplyDeleteHave a great trip!
ReplyDeleteHave a blast, E!! :)
ReplyDeleteDang. I'm going to be in San Diego meeting Shannon and Andrew and others in two weeks. What a shame I'll miss meeting you.
ReplyDeleteOne day.
Have a great time! :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful, wonderful trip, Elana!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy all these fabulous events that your success is leading you to!
I have some friends that live in Vegas, but sadly I've never visited yet. I need to though.
ReplyDeletePs. I emailed you those pictures from this weekend:)
Have another great book signing week!
Can't wait to see you in my neck of the woods!
ReplyDeleteI've never been to Vegas. I know. I'm lame. But I hear it's a wild and crazy place that everyone should visit at least once. I like California. I'd skated a few marathons in that state. Nice...Long Beach was fun.
ReplyDeleteI'll stick to the desert for now. The nice fall weather is rolling in so it's beautiful here. Come on over, any time. :)
People will tell you In'n'Out Burger, and if you like fast food burgers, that's the place. But if you want the best burgers in the world, find a place called Hodad's in San Diego. It'll be worth it.
ReplyDeleteHave fun! I wish I lived close enough to come take part in the events!
ReplyDeleteHave the BEST time EVER!!! I hope you enjoy every second of it, my friend! :-)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the warm sunshine there Elana. I was born in Cali, but have not been back in many years.
ReplyDelete*jealous* (It's chilly here.)
ReplyDeleteHave so much fun, good luck!
Have a great trip. Wish I was in California, it would be a lot warmer than here.
ReplyDeleteWish you were coming to northern California, I'd come see you in a heartbeat. Have fun! If you ever come to northern Cali, I'll take you out to dinner!
ReplyDeleteOMG, ok, if you're in vegas you HAVE to stop at Serendipity3 outside Caesar's Palace and get a fried oreo shake. I know, I know, its a heart attack in a glass, but get it to share and just have one bite. It is SOOOO WORTH IT!!

Have a great time Elana!
ReplyDeleteHave a great, fantastic time!
ReplyDeleteBuffets in Vegas!
ReplyDeleteDon't know what the weather's like in San Diego, but it's been hot up near LA. If you must do one thing in California, it is eat at In-n-Out! :)
I WISH I was in the San Diego area. Still... I am glad that I got to meet you this weekend in Logan. You are TOO cute and TOO sweet! Loved every minute of it. New cover is fabulous! Have a fun trip!
ReplyDeleteLOVE Vegas! Hope you have a blast. Must visit the Bellagio and Venetian:)
ReplyDeleteI wish I was closer to SD. I'm 7 hrs away. It would have been great to meet you!
I've always wanted to go to Vegas! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteI love Las Vegas! I went to high school there, got married there, and had my last child there--though that one was by accident. I hope your trip is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteSo much fun!!! I hope you have a fabulous time! I haven't been to either place - too far away for me! :)
ReplyDeleteDude! You were in Vegas. My turf. I am totally going to Huntington Beach Thursday, but you are down the coast in Oceanside. That is a good hour away or I'd come. Look at us passing in the night...like ships:). Have fun at your signings. You're a rockstar.
ReplyDeleteHurray for road trips! Hope the fans in CA take advantage of your visit there! Safe travels!
ReplyDeleteVegas is so much fun...funny, I can't remember much of it?????
ReplyDeleteHave a great time on your tour. How cool is that? Your tour!
Jimmy Buffet's place is fun... and on the strip.
I don't have any recommendations for places to eat but I'm so excited for you! Have fun!!!
ReplyDeleteHave fun! I love Northern California, the mountains and trees are beautiful. The rest of it, not so much, too many people. Unless I'm taking in a Raiders game... Take pictures for us!
ReplyDeleteHave fun! Can't wait to hear all about it.
ReplyDeleteI've never been to California, so I can't make any recommendations. Sorry!
Aw! I hope you are having a great time!
ReplyDeleteI love California! Run in the sand and take a big swiff of salty air for me. :)
ReplyDeleteFun! I love the San Diego area. If you have a chance you have to do the Zoo. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteI AM SO SO JEALOUS of all those in California. If you're ever in Houston PLEASE let me know. We must meet. Cuz I like you that much. Like a lot a lot.
ReplyDeleteI admit, I know very little about Vegas. Or about California. But I do know that there's supposedly a hotel that has a roller coaster inside. And you should definitely just eat while watching that. Because no matter how it ends, that'll be a good story.
ReplyDeleteI read that The Heart Attack Grill just relocated to Las Vegas, Freemont St., I believe. Dr. Jon had to close the AZ location due to pressure from the community. Looks like a fun place to visit once in your life.
ReplyDeleteChris
I hope you're having fun!
ReplyDeleteWould love to visit Vegas!
ReplyDeleteVegas is like real-time theatre of the absurd. I can't get enough of it. Plus, I'm addicted to the LORD OF THE RINGS slots.
