Fall Break, How I Love Thee

So this week I covered editing, revising, writing rules, critique groups, and personal stuff. How'd the one liners work for you? Did you find you had just as much to say about revising without me going on and on about it? Yeah, that's what I thought.

I loved one liner week. Maybe I'll do it again someday. It's sort of like that Mike Myers sketch on Saturday Night Live where s/he'd throw out a topic and say, "Discuss."

So whaddya wanna talk about? It's Fall Break, and I'm milkin' it.

Oh, and if you need another blog to follow, and you know you do, then check out Lisa Amowitz who recently ventured into the blogosphere. She's a terrific YA author and fabulous friend.

  1. I liked the one liners and loved the Critique Me t-shirts. I don't know that I could get away with them here in Vegas because some tourist would say something and I'd have to punch him in the nose.

    Have a great weekend!

  3. I liked the one liners. I may try it myself someday soon, if I can ever get myself to shut up.

  6. Gotta love brevity. ;)

Speaking of fall break, it feels like fall in these parts for the first time this year. It's cold and rainy, a big change from hot and rainy. ;)

I love one liners, except I can never remember them when I need them. It's a shame. Have a great break!

  13. Brevity wrocks. That's one thing I love about facebook. It's teaching me the art of one-liners. Lately, I've had to restrain myself from writing every email as a status update.

WV: ancere. Is that the opposite of sincere?
