Okay, so I have a little bit of a cover problem. I also really like the color purple. So when I saw a new fantasy cover come up in a Premade Cover Facebook group that I stalk -- like, really stalk. If there's even a 1 next to it in my shortcuts, I rush over there -- I had to buy it.

I didn't NEED it. It was just so dang pretty! And I happened to have a book that it fit really, really well. Never mind that I currently own 7 covers from this group, with none of the books written. It's okay. No one's counting. Well, maybe now you are. And maybe now my husband knows...

Okay, so remember that highs and lows post? Well, it only got more volatile from there!

Book Spotlight: Snow Like Ashes

Okay, so I'm a spurter. That's right. I'm either in a writing spurt or a reading spurt. And for the past couple of weeks, I've been laying down thousands of words as I prepare for my edits on RIFT to come. See, I have a production schedule, and I wanted to get a few things drafted before I had to put them on hold when the edits came.

But then I get a little burnt out, and I need a break. That's typically when I go on a reading spurt. And that's what I've been doing these past few days.

One of the books I read was one I've had on my Kindle for a while, but well, when I'm in a writing spurt, there's no reading going on.
