COVER REVEAL: To Be Yours

Okay, so I am super excited to be showing you my cover for my next young adult contemporary romance novel, TO BE YOURS. It's coming on January 16, and while I know the cover doesn't look like it, the MCs live in Idaho and get snowed in...

But the story goes all the way to summer, so I think the cover is still a great fit. In fact, I freaking LOVE this cover! Are you ready to see it??

Well, here it is!

And here's a little bit about the book.

TO BE YOURS: When seventeen-year-old Eden Scotson skis to the bottom of a mountain on a routine trip with her older brother's best friend, Grayson Young, they find the lift non-operational and the biggest storm of the season upon them. Compared to dealing with the complexities of friendship and more-than-friendship, overcoming grief, and learning how to forgive old wounds, physically climbing the mountain back to safety will be the easiest part of the journey for both Eden and Grayson.

I hope you'll preorder a copy today!

JUST FRIENDS is out today!

Dude, so it's true. I'm writing YA novels again. I have one out today, in fact. You may have seen it around on Facebook, twitter, or instagram. I'm not sure if people still come to blogs or not, but I figured I better put it here too.

JUST FRIENDS is a novel I poured my heart and soul into a few years ago. It made the rounds in New York, but ultimately, it went on the hard drive. Until this past summer, when I decided to resurrect it.

Kindle Scout passed on it, and I thought, "I know how to self-publish. And I know how to hire great editors." So I did the second, and now I'm doing the first.

I hope you'll go get a copy! JUST FRIENDS is told entirely from a male POV, something I've never done before. (Yes, I know ABANDON was told from two male POVs. Two. This is the first time I've attempted to have one boy carry the whole story. I think it turned out pretty well!)

About JUST FRIENDS: High school senior, Mitch Houser, is thrilled to have multiple colleges recruiting him because of his record-breaking times on the track, but Mitch hasn’t told anyone the real reason he’s been setting records.

He’s trying to outrun his girl problems.

Mitch can't keep running from his problems, and he'll have to face both Jade and Holly—and decide which one of them to put into the “just friends” category.

Shattered Worlds Feature: The Pirate Episode by Kristy Tate

Shattered Worlds features Kristy Tate's THE PIRATE EPISODE!

The Pirate Episode

YA Time Travel

Cambria Brandt, a senior at Norfolk High, juggles homework assignments, tennis practice, and her overprotective mother, all while struggling to conceal her crush on Dr. Fleur, her biology teacher. But one sip of the witching well water makes all her concerns disappear.

Flung into the intrigues of the American Revolutionary War, Cami discovers a have on Ile du Ciel, the private island of the pirate Captain Phillip La Fleur. Distress and suspicion soon blossom into romance, luring Cami to a life of ease she could never have imagined. But when Dr. Fleur comes in search of her, Cami finds herself torn between two men, two centuries, and two very different futures.

From a modern day New England high school to the Caribbean Islands, The Pirate Episode is a romantic adventure that proves love knows no time.

Exclusive Excerpt!

Cambria
Brandt stood in the doorway holding her tennis racquet, smiling at him in that
knowing way that he found so frustrating on an eighteen-year-old girl. She
always looked at him as if she could read his thoughts, which would be
disastrous for his position at the school if she really could.
“Ah,
Cambria, I hadn’t heard you come in.”
“I think
I left my book in here.” She looked past him and pointed to her fifth period
chair. “There it is.”
Smiling,
she moved past him, smelling earthy and sweat. The air around her moved. He
could practically feel the molecules rearranging themselves, welcoming her into
his space. Typically he didn’t notice what women—girls, he corrected
himself—wore, but he found Cambria’s too-short tennis skirt and tank top hard
to ignore.
Because
he couldn’t indulge in such thoughts about Cami—or any of his students—Joel
strode to his microscope. The bottle of water from the Witching Well sat on the
counter. He had forgotten about that. He picked it up, intending to throw it
away.
“I heard
your sister is getting married,” Cambria said, pausing beside him.
Joel
cleared his throat. “Yes.”
“And
that she’s going to be running the dress shop out of your grandmother’s house.”
“Yes,”
he repeated, adjusting his glasses so that he could see her better. Damn. Why
did she have to look like that? Long blond curly hair, damp with sweat. Flushed
skin. Shining eyes.
“I think
it’s so cool. All the girls love Delia’s Dress Shop. I can’t wait to see her
wedding dress. Celia is so talented.”
Joel
nodded, cursing himself for social ineptitude and his inappropriate thoughts. She’s a kid, he berated
himself. Get a grip.
Waving
her hand in front of her flushed face, she nodded at the water bottle in his
hand. “Can I have a drink? Do you mind?” She reached for it and her fingers
brushed his. Tingles shot up his arm.
Cambria
unscrewed the lid. “The water fountain on the courts is still broken.”
“Um,
that’s not—” Joel began.
But
Cambria didn’t stop to listen. “Don’t worry. I won’t put my lips on it,” she
said. Tipping her head back, she poured the water from the Witching Well into
her mouth.
The
tennis racquet, water bottle and book fell with a clatter as Cambria vanished.

A War Centuries Old

In her moment of weakness, with sword poised, Julianna suddenly finds herself no longer staring down the emerald eyes of a dragon. Instead, a handsome young dragon shifter named Ash is staring up at her with beseeching eyes.

Danger and Betrayal

Forced into an unlikely alliance in an attempt to prevent a needless and bloody war between their nations, Julianna and Ash must survive a world where danger lurks around every corner, and where not everyone is hoping for peace.

JA Armitage bio:

Born in a small town, J.Armitage longed for adventure and travel.

About Miranda Hardy and Jay Noel: Miranda Hardy writes children’s literature to keep the voices in her head appeased. When she’s not in her fantasy world, she’s canoeing in alligator infested waters, or rescuing homeless animals. She goes to coffee shops to do most of her writing while drinking tea. Unable to reveal too much, she has the most boring superpower ever (hint: you have to be a close relative for it to work). She resides in south Florida with her two wonderful children, and too many animals to mention.

Jay Noel was born on an uncharted island somewhere in the pacific and raised by elves and fairies. Okay, maybe not, but Jay was always known to be one for daydreaming. Jay was actually born in New York, but currently lives in St. Louis with his family. He had a pretty normal childhood, except for that one incident where he gave Jeff Glass a bloody nose and lip in the second grade. But the jerk deserved it! Shattered Worlds Feature: HUNTRESS by Julie Hall!

This is a fantastic YA fantasy that's exclusive to the Shattered Worlds Boxed Set!

About HUNTRESS: Death was only the beginning.

No one's afterlife is as dispiriting as Audrey's-at least that's what she believes after waking up dead without her memories and being promptly assigned to hunt demons for the rest of eternity.

She's convinced God's made a cosmic mistake; after all, she'd rather discuss the color of her nails than break them on angelic weapons. It doesn't help that her trainer, Logan, is as infuriating as he is attractive. And just when Audrey and Logan appear close to developing an amicable relationship, a decision made under duress will push their hearts in a direction neither of them saw coming.

Despite her sub-par fighting abilities, an ancient weapon of unparalleled power chooses Audrey as its wielder, attracting the cautious gazes of her fellow hunters and the attention of Satan himself. With Satan's eyes now fixed on Audrey, a battle for the safety of the living looms in the shadows.

Be sure to check out HUNTRESS, available for only 99cents along with 22 other amazing science fiction, paranormal, fantasy, and dystopian stories in the Shattered Worlds Boxed Set! The set comes out on August 8, but you can pre-order it now and get some exclusive bonuses!

About Julie Hall: Before writing her first novel Julie worked as a film publicist and rubbed elbows with the rich and famous . . . as in she would gently nudge them to let them know their meal had arrived during press interviews.

She now spends most of her "office hours" with her two furry writing buddies, Bear and Coco. Her daughter thinks that mommy's superpower is “sleeping all day,” but that’s because she’s often awake until the wee hours of the morning weaving tales of adventure in worlds of her own creation. When asked in an interview what she wanted to be when she grew up, she’s quoted to have answered, “to never have to grow up.”

She currently lives in Portland, Oregon with her four favorite people--her husband, daughter, and two fur babies (because dogs are people too).
