Dude, today is the official release day of DIES IRAE by Christine Fonseca. Now, I'm part of her blog tour, and trust me, you are not going to want to miss the hilarious video we have planned. It'll be up on Wednesday, February 15.
But I couldn't let today go by without a major shout out to her awesomeness! Her novella is finally here -- and her novel, LACRIMOSA, is set to follow in March.
Yay!
And it's party time!
For the release, I am giving away 5 copies of DIES IRAE. Leave me a comment here and I'll draw winners tomorrow morning.
About the book: Mikayel lives by one rule—obey the orders of the angelic Council at all costs. That is, until he and his friends, Azza and Demi, are sent to Earth. Assigned as Watchers while they await their decision of which angelic order to serve, the three assume the bodies of teenagers and experience life as human.
The sensations are overwhelming as the angels experience a host of human emotions—rage, terror, love—and come ever closer to breaking one of the unbreakable rules—never fall in love.
But being human isn’t the only problem facing the three angels. Unbeknownst to the Council, demonic activity is on the rise, threatening to break a tenuous peace that has existed for a millennia; a peace Azza seems bent on destroying.
Caught in a struggle for power with unseen demonic forces and Azza, and fighting against his rising emotional attachment to Demi, Mikayel must now decide how much he is willing to sacrifice for his new found love—a decision that could reignite an ancient war and will threaten the only thing that matters to the angels, the survival of humanity.
Better yet, buy your copy here for Kindle. Or here for Nook. You can also add it to your Goodreads list.
And you can follow all the blog tour action by going to Michelle McLean's blog today.
What do you think of the cover? Does this sound like something you'd like? (Just trying to give you something to talk about in your comment so you can WIN this amazing novella!)

Friday Festivities
Okay, so there are so many amazing things afoot. That's right, I used the word "afoot." Anyway, I wanted today to be a celebration!
So up first: WriteOnCon
1. A super success story that WOC inspired. I seriously cried when I read this post, and you should too. Or maybe not. But go see what stemmed from one of our live events.
2. The next WriteOnCon live event will be Monday, May 16! That's like, 3 days people. We're hosting the Trifecta of Awesome with HarperCollins editor Molly O'Neill, literary agent Joanna Stampfel-Volpe, and the bestest literary agent ever (that's her official title, yo) Michelle Andelman. (Okay, I'm biased. So sue me.)
Click here for all the details.
3. The winner of Christine Fonseca's 101 SUCCESS SECRETS is... Melissa Sarno! Email me okay? Okay.
4. There's nothing like a little humiliation via video. And hey! I've made it easy for you. I signed up for VYou, where anyone can ask me a question about anything, and I'll record the answer via live video. (Remember that one post a while ago where I said I'd never vlog? What has happened to me??) Click here to VYou it up with me.
5. I'm also celebrating personally this week: I'm done with the conference season for a while. I'm getting prize packages together for my launch events. School is almost out. I have some very exciting things coming soon (a book trailer! Book club materials! An interview with my agent!).
All of this deserves a festival. So I'm festivaling.
What are you celebrating right now? I'm also throwing glitter that blogger is back up. ;)

For Your Entertainment
I quite enjoy this song, and how can you not love anyone who does sign language? I mean, seriously. I rarely post videos, but this one is awesomesauce.
And I may or may not be out of things to blog about at this time. I'm fried from spring break--staying up late and swimming can really wear a person down. I'm going to a M/W/F posting schedule next week so I can finish my conference presentations and feel human and all that other jazz.
But for today, this is pure entertainment. I'm not even going to ask you any questions. (Ha!)
