Christine Fonseca's TRANSCEND, pitched as Hamlet meets the Black Swan in this Phantom of the Opera thriller, in which a horrible accident leaves a young man abandoned and left for dead, his only link to sanity the love of his fiancee and the support of his best friend-an illusion that might just rip away the last shreds of his humanity and reveal parts of himself he'll wish remained buried, to Compass Press, in a nice deal, for publication in March 2013 (US).

Also, the INSURGENT trailer was released last week. I'm still such a huge lover of all things dystopian, and yeah. I can't help myself.

Exhaustion Is A Good Thing

Phew. Okay, so the POSSESSION party was amazing! You guys never cease to amaze me. From the winners on twitter, to the many questions in the forum, to the fun live chat, I had a total blast.

And I am now exhausted. But it's a good thing. It means I've done some work. I always feel like this after writing or editing too. So yeah. Exhaustion. It's a good thing.

Housekeeping

No, I totally don't mean the kind where you get your bathrooms cleaned. But that would be awesome!

Anyway, there's a few things I have to tie up, and I'm using today to do it.

1. WriteOnCon Live Panel!

I carefully typed them all up in a fancy Word document and did some serious printage and scouring at the library. And then I'm going to head to the bookstore. And then maybe Amazon. Thanks for suggesting the great reads! I went to the library yesterday and they had some Patricia McKillip and some Bernard Cornwall. I put Tad Williams on request, same with Cassandra Clare (which I already had on request). And I've had Suzanne Collins' on request for like, two weeks, so we'll see if I ever get that. And I have Diana Gabaldon's book in my closet...I've really got to read that...
